Almost all imported cars manufactured in Japan come with the standard Japanese navigation, Japanese maps and it will not work in New Zealand we may be able to help with replacing with a new NZ, Australian maps for an additional cost.
Most of cars manufactured in Europe and its navigation, MAPs will be able to use in New Zealand /Australian roads
Similar modes of new cars imported to New Zealand, Australia as brand new cars may not have same features of a car imported from Japan though the year , model is same. .
01) We only deal with reliable Japanese car dealers, we mainly deal with Heiwa Auto Japan and its affiliated companies
02) PM Auto do not bid for accident cars but any cars graded in Japan with the auction grade 3.5 or above.
03) Client contacts us with details of the car wants to import direct from Japan
04) For all new client we ask client to undertake an acceptance of the car in the event if the client won the car at the action
05) OR we may ask 10% of the deposit of the car.
06) Also, client advise minimum and maximum budget of the car intends to import in NZD
07) PM Auto hand pick cars from Japanese car auctions or stocks held by Japanese car dealers.
08) We daily pick cars from Japanese auctions and email with the original copy of the Japanese auctions’ sheets.
09) If the client accepts, we then place bids and if the bid is competitive our Japanese dealer will physically check the condition of the car (not test drive)
10) To make the bid more successful we will provide historical data of a similar car sold price in Japan covering 100 of auctions
11) If the bid is successful, we will invoice you to pay the car cost car
12) Our agent in Japan will pay all auction charges on behalf of the importer and organize the car to their yard.
13) An internal inspection will be done at the yard of the dealer before an inspection report is sent with more pictures of the car usually about 10 or more
14) The mileage of the car will be certified by AA as well the odometer
15) Car will be booked for shipping and estimated arrival details will be provided.
16) A copy of the Bill of lading will be provided and we will send the same to the importer as the confirmation of the shipment
17) We will then send an invoice covering shipping and NZ Customs importation charges.
18) Car will deliver to our compliance centers in Noth or South Island (Unfortunately we do not have compliance centers in all main cities in New Zealand)
19) Car will be ready with the MR 2 , vin number and WOF for period of period of 6 months to 1 year.
20) Importer will pay the compliance charges usually about 350~ 400 dollars + any charges to fix any ailed compliances
21) Importer will pay registration fee for six month or one year. (Cost of registration fee
